Here is a story, perfect for Easter Weekend. On the worst day of Jesus’ life, Crucifixion Friday, to many standing in the crowd it seemed hopeless, but Jesus knew Resurrection Sunday was coming! As PCM Volunteer, Trudy Shaw says, ” If you will keep your eyes on the Lord, He will turn the situation around to your good.” If you don’t have a regular church, please find one this Sunday and go. Easter is about more than bunnies & chocolate!
Here is a story from while I was away! I was in the mall shopping and as I was walking and browsing around while a young man stopped me. He was working a booth located in the mall hallway. He was there raising money for an organization to help build housing for those who are released out of prisons and off additions. I told him that I am a volunteer for PRISON CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES. He told me his story. He was in prison, and turned his life around when he invited Jesus in his heart, and had been free from addition for three months now. He told me his daughter lived a far distance from him, but he said that it was important to him to help others where is he right now. I gave him a hug and told him how proud I am of him. I was so blessed by his story!
We are all faced with situations that seemingly will overwhelm and defeat us. We ask God, “Why is this happening to me?” Remember when life seems out of control, what the devil means for evil, Jesus will turn around for good. If you are in the middle of an evil attack by the enemy, realize that the matter is not over yet. If you will keep your eyes on the Lord, He will turn the situation around to your good. God can take the worst of situations, where you are, where you have been or what you have done and turn it around to His glory. We are all the prodigal sons and daughters and He will welcome you home. (1 Corinthians 15:10) For the grace of God I am what I am. By Trudy Shaw
