Visit continued…

recentvisitTime is flying and the third group arrive. We are in for a very encouraging time. Brent the ever ready ‘transition man’ commences this meeting and Becka begins her songs.

Minstrel is a good name for her, she selects songs that speak to our hearts as if God was doing the speaking.

Our theme this month is,’God knows your name’ so she selects a song with that title, I will now include the lyrics which she sang along with a link to hear it sung:

I have a Maker
He Formed My Heart
Before even time began
My life was in his hands

He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call

I have a father
He calls me his own
He’ll never leave me
No matter where I go

He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call

He hears me when I call…
He hears me when I call…
He hears me when I call… (you are my father and I love you)
He hears me when I call… (you are my father and I love you)

He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call

There were tears during the third meeting as this song was played, God made that meeting place our personal Cathedral and we worshiped and were moved to tears. He sees all our tears and sees us when we call. The presence of God was tangible and after Jim spoke their hearts were prepared for ministry. As I gave my testimony, I noticed one individual who seemed particularly burdened.

Later as Brent was doing the wrap up this individual stood up and asked, “How do I get God? I am tired of this lifestyle.” With hearts prepared and all ready to agree with Brent, he helped lead this man to a new life in Christ. When the heart makes that personal connection on the inside with Jesus, our spiritual man is changed not only spiritually but also physically. When it was time for the third crew to leave it was remarkable how this man’s physical countenance had changed in such a short time. God is not restricted by time nor environment He can do anything, we have but to call with a sincere heart.

More continued tomorrow… Blessings Bill
