Prayers Answered

Today turned out to be a very special day, God showed up in a way that I could never have imagined. Five volunteers from Prison Christian Ministries left early this morning so that they would arrive on time in Moncton to share His Gospel with men & women who were all fighting to overcome life-controlling addictions. At that meeting I had a man come up to me and say, "I know you, you're Brent Bishop you prayed for me when I was in the hole at Dorchester Prison 14 years ago." The amazing part is I could remember praying for him. He was 26 years old and was in so much anguish and stress that I did not think he would come out of the prison alive, but God.

I also saw two ladies who were in the last service that we did at the Miramichi Correction Center. They both hugged me and thanked us for the wonderful service we did that day. At the end of the service, one of the ladies came to me for prayer, which was wonderfully filled with the Holy Spirit.

Then came another wonderful blessing for me, the man from Dorchester Prison prayed the prayer of salvation with me, there and then committed his life to serving Jesus. Hallelujah, the prayer I prayed 14 years ago was complete.

Luke 1:37 - "For no word from God shall be void of power."
