• Prison Christian Ministries has been a Not for Profit Federal Incorporated Canadian Registered Charitable Organization (803492925RR0001) since 2013 and our goal is to share the gospel of hope, to prisoners both locally and internationally. We have volunteers trained to teach in a way that all can understand and relate to the Good News of Jesus, in order to change lives, families and make communities safer. Volunteers travel to Correctional Facilities and some Addiction Rehabilitation Centers to share Jesus and his love.
  • Few Canadians are even aware that children under the age of 5 must accompany their mothers into prison in Kenya. Prison Christian Ministries (PCM) has established and supports a monthly milk program in some of these female prisons, in order that each toddler receives a milk drink box daily. We are delighted to share that in the month of June 2023, 33 Prisons received milk supplies for 357 children. But, other areas like Eastern Kenya are in need of aid also. Currently Kenya is in the grip of the worst drought in recent history which means food sources are scarce. Through your love and support, inmates & children of prisoners in Kenya are being positively impacted.
  • Furthermore, children with parents in prison across Kenya end up living on the streets because most extended families can not afford to house, feed or pay for schooling for these children. Once per week PCM feeds over 100 street kids and provides minor medical aid but there are so many more in need of assistance.
  • PCM built and operates a home in Murang’a, Kenya which is dedicated for both boys and girls of incarcerated parents aged 5 to 16. Each home is called Tabitha House and it provides shelter, clothing, food and schooling for approximately 25 children. A second home is almost completed and two more homes are in the planning phase, so we desperately need your financial help to fulfill the vision of opening and operating 10 homes for children of incarcerated parents.
  • We operate a Thrift store “Seed the Need”, located at 176 Main Street, Fredericton, that helps to fund some of our missions but your prayers and partnership is what really makes the difference.
