Recent Flooding in Kenya

The last month has been devastating for Kenyans due to the heavy rains and floods that hit the country unexpectedly.

We can report that our Tabitha 2 family has come through the storms with minimal property damage, and all the children are safe and well. School has resumed for all our children, but they are in need of school supplies and mosquito nets due to the outbreak of Malaria disease.

A major concern is the disruption to the water supply in many areas, leaving people desperate for water to use for drinking, cooking, laundry, and cleaning. The floods have also swept away crops from farms leading to a shortage of food in the country and the food that is available is very expensive because most of it is imported.

Prayer needs: Pray for stationery and mosquito nets, pray that food prices go down and finally pray for the affected families and especially our second family of Tabitha 1 in Murang'a, who had to leave because of the flooding.

We need your prayers. As Prison Christian Ministries continues to grow more funds are needed to run the programs.
