Meet James and Paulin Onunga of Homa Bay, Kenya. They will be the Directors of Tabitha House 5! James has worked in prisons for the last 34 years and has seen how innocent children under 4 years of age, suffer in prison as a result of crimes committed by their mothers. He has also witnessed children left at home by their mothers, especially single mothers when incarcerated. These children suffer irreparable losses in terms of care and protection. James was moved to prison ministry when he visited. God made my path cross with Brent Bishop, the Director of Prison Christian Ministries a few years ago when he visited with us at Kakamega Main Prison. James shared with him the plight of children accompanying their mothers into prison and those left behind. Now good friends who share the same ideals are working together to help these children.
We are a Federally Incorporated Canadian Registered Charitable Organization. Our Charity Number is 803492925RR0001. We are governed by a local board made up of Rev Brent Bishop, Dr Stephen Hart, Pastor Albert Hood, Paul Dixon, Malcolm Thomas, Pam Hoben and Larry Bailey.
