Volunteers Visit the Ladies’ Treatment Center in Shediac

Yesterday at noon a team of five volunteers left Fredericton; Albert Hood, Jackie Doucette, Dave Hardy, Dr. Stephen Hart, and Brent Bishop. Two others left Miramichi, Herb & Lynn Marr to meet at the ladies' treatment center in Shediac, Naomi, and Ruth,  where we met up with another volunteer Tony Scholten. Albert and Jackie provided the Praise and WorshipT. hat was followed by a real heart-wrenching testimony from Jackie, then came another testimony from Lynn Marr that edified God and lifted up all the ladies that were present. Dave shared a real meaningful message that helped the ladies to prepare for what laid ahead, when he was finished we closed with prayer. It was an awesome service where God's presence was abounding. We serve a wonderful God. The ladies served a supper and we bid them farewells at about 6:30. Three of us men headed for the Southeast Correctional Center, where we each entered a separate range so that we could share the gospel with as many men as possible. It's a powerful testimony to these men when a volunteer cares enough about them to drive from Fredericton, to visit them and share the gospel. The service I did was loaded with God's presence. All the men who were present prayed with me at the end of the service and asked our loving Savior Jesus Christ, to come into their lives and show them what he had for them, it was wonderful. Praise Jesus We arrived back in Fredericton at 10:45 safe and sound.
