Give a Christmas Gift that lasts forever.

Dear Friends & Partners,

Thank you once again for helping to make all this possible. Without your support and God’s love, this would not have happened.

As you might know, we now have approximately 140 children in our care. These are the prisoners’ children; most were living on the street with no support, no hope, hurting from hunger, disappointment, and abuse. Today they are enjoying their lives, going to school and smiling because they know Jesus loves them.  We have 5 Tabitha House Rescue Centers completed with drilled wells.

But the work is not finished; there are still more prisoners’ children who need your help. We are now building Tabitha House 7 and are close to finishing it. With your continued support, we can make a Christmas for 24 prisoners’ children that they will never forget; all we need is the funds to finish the house. The children are waiting.

When life gets tough, kneel and pray. God hears every whisper of your heart.

This is what we teach the kids at Tabitha House 3 Christian Rescue Centre. Only to depend on God for he knows them better. It’s the faith that has kept us going.. Even when school fees are a challenge, they seek God for provision.

He is the God of another chance.

PCM and Tabitha House 3 Need Donors Like You

Why we need you !!

A warm meal doesn’t sound like much. But for a child in poverty, it can mean the difference between falling behind and staying in school. Between getting sick and staying healthy. Between just surviving and starting to thrive.

PCM partners show up for kids like this every single day. Because faithful care isn’t a one-time thing.

We need you now more than ever to make the lives of these kids thrive against all social odds.

Dear Friends at prison Christian ministry,

I am writing this letter from Tabitha House 1 prisoners children’s home with a heart full of gratitude to thank you for the kindness and love you have shown me.

Because of your generosity, I have been able to continue with my education, receive food, and have a safe and comfortable place to live. Your support has given me something very important—hope for my future. There have been times when life has been difficult because my parent is in prison. I sometimes wondered whether I would be able to continue going to school or have the things I need. But through your support, you have reminded me that I am not forgotten and that there are people who care about my life and my dreams.

Thank you for paying for my education and giving me the opportunity to learn. Thank you for providing food when I needed it and shelter where I can feel safe. Every meal, every school opportunity, and every night under a safe roof means so much to me.

You may never fully know how much your kindness has changed my life. You are helping me to dream again and believe that I can grow up to become someone who will also help others.

I promise to work hard in school, respect those who support me, and use the opportunities you have given me wisely. One day, I hope to make a difference in the lives of other children just as you have made a difference in mine.

Thank you for believing in me when life was difficult. Thank you for giving me education, food, shelter, dignity, and hope.

May God bless you, your families, and the work of your hands abundantly.

With love and sincere gratitude,
Your Grateful Child,
Shantel
A Child of a Prisoner.

Dear Partners

Calvary greetings in Jesus Mighty Name!!

How spiritual nourishment has transformed orphans and vulnerable children with parents in prison under PCM-TABITHA2 Kenya. Reformed Church Prison Christian Ministries Tabitha2 is experiencing real transformation when spiritual care is paired with food, education, and love. RCEA Prison Christian Ministries Tabitha2 here means teaching the Word, prayer, discipleship, and showing kids they are loved by God and by people.

We are thrilled to report that at PCM-Tabitha2 Children’s Home, more than 25 children with parents in prison and those living on the streets received Bibles and heard about _“the love of Christ”_. Two girls, Dorcus and Ruth, said: _“We are very happy to be allowed to serve and explore our giftings in the church today during Sunday service today. “We are so excited”. That message of _“you are not forgotten”_ changes how children see themselves. PCM-Tabitha2’s goal is that every young person grows up safe, confident, and hopeful about the future.

Prayer Request;

Pray that we get funds to construct PCM Christian Guest House in our donated church plot at RCEA Emmaus in Bungoma Town for our income generation project for children.

Asteriko lives in a quiet village of Kabuoch, Kenya. In one day, his life changed from normal to extreme poverty. His father was taken to prison. The mud hut offered little protection, and hunger became a daily reality. School was out of the question; there was no money for school fees and uniforms. Asteriko became sad and hopeless; he became very lonely and depressed.

One day, his father was telling his story about how desperate his son was. A guard who helped at Prison Christian Ministries, Tabitha House 5, heard him and went to investigate. Recognizing Asteriko’s problem and hearing that he wanted to finish his education, he was taken into Tabitha House 5.

He received new shoes, a school uniform, a backpack, all essential learning materials, food, and a safe place to live and learn about Jesus.

The transformation was incredible. As time went by, Asteriko became excited about his life. He no longer had to go hungry, and it was all because of God’s love and the partners who give each month to PCM, which makes this possible.

Please help us to save many more like Asteriko’s. We are building Tabitha House 7 and will need help to care for 25 more children who will be living there. It costs $100 per month. Please help with what God puts on your heart. go to www.prisonchristianministries.com or contact richard@prisonchristianministries.com

When Ian arrived at Tabitha House 4 Rescue Centre, he was a quiet and withdrawn boy. His life had been turned upside down after his mother was arrested and jailed for committing murder. With no relatives willing to care for him, Ian was left completely alone — frightened, hungry, and uncertain about his future.

For several weeks, Ian lived on the streets, surviving on little food and sleeping wherever he could find shelter. It was during this difficult period that the Tabitha House 4 outreach team found him sitting near a market, tired and afraid. After listening to his story, the team immediately took him into care.

At first, Ian struggled to adjust. He rarely spoke and often woke up from nightmares. But with time, patience, and the loving care of the Tabitha House 4 staff, Ian began to open up. He was provided with a warm bed, nutritious meals, and the emotional support he desperately needed.

A year later, the transformation is remarkable. Ian is now attending school regularly and performing well in his studies, particularly in mathematics and science. He enjoys playing football with the other children and often takes the lead in group activities. His confidence has grown, and his smile — once hidden by pain — now shines bright.

Ian has also joined the children’s Bible study group, where he loves sharing verses about hope and forgiveness. When asked about his future, Ian says he wants to become a social worker so he can help other children who have gone through difficult times like he did.

His journey is a powerful testimony of what love, care, and faith can do.

Through the support of  Prison Christian Ministries partners, Ian has found a new beginning — a place to belong, to learn, and to dream again.

We need your help to provide help to many more children like Ian who deserve a chance.

God loves a cheerful giver.

Humanity is not about religion, color, country, or language. Humanity is about feeling another person’s pain as your own. It is about helping someone even when you get nothing in return. In a world where people are busy proving who is right, humanity is choosing to be kind instead of cruel, silent instead of hateful, and helpful instead of selfish. We all are fighting battles that others cannot see, so a little respect, a little patience, and a little compassion can save someone’s heart. If we cannot change the whole world, at least we can change the world for one person.

PCM, thank you also for your faithful prison ministry and for showing Christ’s love to those behind bars. Your compassion, prayers, and support bring hope, healing, and dignity to many lives.

I’m also deeply grateful for your care and concern for the children of incarcerated parents. Your kindness reminds them that they are not forgotten and that God’s love surrounds them even during difficult times.

May God continue to bless and strengthen PRISON CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES as we serve with grace, mercy, and compassion.

Dear Brent,

Below is a photograph of the newly recruited 7 kids in school uniform, newly enrolled in school and ready to go. All the 7 were expelled from school when their fathers were jailed. In fact, they had been out of school for the last year by the time we rescued them! Now they have a place they call HOME, where they are loved, taken care of, and provided with education just like the other children. We thank God for Prison Christian Ministries for the continued support.

May God continue to bless all the stewards and dear friends in this Ministry who have made this possible. God is good all the time.

Be blessed.

Peter Baru

Dear Donors,

At Prison Christian Ministries Kenya, we are working at advancing God’s Kingdom – we believe that God can transform the lives of those in prison and call them to participate with Him in His Great Commission. Through Prison Christian Ministries, we are training and equipping radical men and women to pastor and plant churches within prison walls and the communities in which they used to live. We help thousands of inmates receive effective training in church leadership knowledge.

We do this first by supplying Bibles, distributing literature, and establishing church-based seminaries inside prison walls. Then, we equip churches and ministries to come alongside released prisoners, provide discipleship, and empower them to do effective ministry in some of the most forgotten places in our cities.

It’s with great happiness to report that we have trained more 640 men and women who have experienced incarceration, and now they are powerful agents in advancing God’s Kingdom in the community. Research shows that trained leaders in prison reduce the number of repeat offenders and are catalysts for ministry growth in the community. Thanks to PCM for supplying Bibles in prison.

Therefore, it’s on this request that you support the construction of small Christian Libraries inside the prisons of Kakamega and Bungoma prisons so that we can amplify the good work you are doing together by creating free access to Christian literature in prison.

Thank you.
