Children of Tabitha House 5 – Meet Asteriko

Asteriko lives in a quiet village of Kabuoch, Kenya. In one day, his life changed from normal to extreme poverty. His father was taken to prison. The mud hut offered little protection, and hunger became a daily reality. School was out of the question; there was no money for school fees and uniforms. Asteriko became sad and hopeless; he became very lonely and depressed.

One day, his father was telling his story about how desperate his son was. A guard who helped at Prison Christian Ministries, Tabitha House 5, heard him and went to investigate. Recognizing Asteriko’s problem and hearing that he wanted to finish his education, he was taken into Tabitha House 5.

  He received new shoes, a school uniform, a backpack, all essential learning materials, food, and a safe place to live and learn about Jesus. 

 The transformation was incredible. As time went by, Asteriko became excited about his life. He no longer had to go hungry, and it was all because of God’s love and the partners who give each month to PCM, which makes this possible.

     Please help us to save many more like Asteriko’s. We are building Tabitha House 7 and will need help to care for 25 more children who will be living there. It costs $100 per month.
