The story of three siblings left alone at home following the incarceration of their mother.
In a small rural village near Oyugis Town, Kenya, three siblings—Ruth, Mark, and Fidel—were left alone after their mother’s sudden arrest and imprisonment. With no income, no guidance, and no access to school, their days were consumed by survival. Beneath a rusted iron roof, they waited in silence, watching the dirt path for a miracle.
That miracle came when the volunteers from Prison Christian Ministries working at Tabitha House 5, heard about their plight from their incarcerated mother, traced their home and rescued them. Within days, the children were given safety, clothing, and admission to school. Their story transformed from abandonment to hope, from despair to education.
They received new shoes, a school uniform, a backpack, all essential learning materials, food, and a safe place to live and learn about Jesus.

The transformation was incredible. As time went by, they became excited about their lives. They no longer had to go hungry, and it was all because of God’s love and the partners who give each month to PCM, which makes this possible. But Ruth, Mark, and Fidel are not alone. Hundreds of vulnerable children in our community face the same struggles—neglect, poverty, and lack of access to education.
Please help us to save many more like Ruth, Mark, and Fidel. We are building Tabitha House 7 and will need help to care for 25 more children who will be living there. It costs $100 per month. Please help with what God puts on your heart. Go to www.prisonchristianministries.com or contact richard@prisonchristianministries.com
