Good morning, friends and Partners,
Day 7 was certainly a wonderful day. We were up early in the morning and over to the largest women’s prison in Kenya called Langata.
We went into the reman section of the prison where over 100 inmates were waiting for us. When we arrive they treated us with a harmony of 100 voices that sang to the beat of an African drum, something you have to hear to appreciate. The music cuts to the soul it was wonderful.
Debbie Roy started our service with two songs of praise and worship, the ladies loved her music that was so different to them.
Then Pam Hoben shared a message of hope and love that was based on what Jesus had sacrifice for us.
Becca Cummings did a wonderful job telling a story that she had learned in Sunday school. She’s such a wonderful preacher and I could see by the look on the ladies faces, and there reaction they were enjoying every second of it.
At the end Jody Cummings stood up and prayed the prayer of salvation.
