REPORT ON VISITORS FROM STATE DEPARTMENT FOR CHILDREN SERVICES AND UNITED NATIONS OFFICE ON DRUGS AND CRIME (UNODC)
We are thrilled to report that, on December 15, 2025, we at Prison Christian Ministries Tabitha House 2 received two visitors from state department for children services headquarters Nairobi Madam Christine Ondieki and Mr. Current Okech consultant from United Nationals on Drugs and Crime UNODC Kenya who came for research on issues affecting children with parents in prison. Our organization was able to share the importance of establishing policy framework at grassroots and National level, strengthening alternative care programs, Educational and General Welfare support for children with parents in prison and how to reduce recidivism rate. Visitors appreciated the commitment, passion and sacrifice from Prison Christian Ministries Canada and our volunteers towards helping children with parents in prison.
