The story of Mitchel is both heart-wrenching and inspiring.
Despite being born into a vulnerable family, she was able to overcome difficult circumstances alongside her 16 yrs older brother. However, life wasn’t easy for them as their single mother struggled to provide for her children. Many times, they went to bed hungry, with their mother resorting to brewing illegal and dangerous alcohol to make ends meet. Unfortunately, their mother’s actions led her to be arrested and sentenced to three years.
It was during her time in Narok Women’s Prison that Mitchel and her family crossed paths with Tabitha House 4 agents, who later followed up and discovered the dire living conditions the children were in.
Thanks to the support from PCM, Mitchel was rescued and brought to Tabitha House 4 Rescue Centre where she was given a new chance at life. The tone of voice here is both grateful and hopeful, as we see the positive impact that PCM can have on the lives of vulnerable children. PCM is now looking for someone to sponsor Mitchel, it will cost us $100.00 per month to look after her needs.
Please help so we can help more children like her. Partner with us and click the donate link below.
